Over time we’ve had our favorite Christmas treats inside the form of candy, cookies, cakes, and extra. I used to like these little almond crescent cookies that I’d buy around the vacation season. yes, they had been store bought cookies, even got here in a container. 

In reality, if I recall right, they have been Keebler cookies. They have been oh so scrumptious. due to the fact that I haven’t visible them in awhile, I idea I’d try making my very own version, best in a spherical cookie form vs. a crescent. I think i have a brand new favorite Christmas cookie recipe.

INGREDIENTS

• 1 cup unsalted butter
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking powder

1 cup finely chopped almonds

1 cup powdered sugar for dipping

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cream butter and sugar.
2. add egg, vanilla, and almond extract, mixing properly.
3. Sift dry substances collectively. upload to creamed aggregate, blending nicely.
4. upload finely chopped almonds, mixing well.
