This Parmesan garlic herbal fast bread is a soft, flavorful bread that makes a large side dish for any meal.
We are a family of bread. Rolls, garlic bread, French toast, zucchini bread, you name it, we like it. I am a big fan of fast bread and I have long wanted to experiment with savory recipes. This was my first attempt and I was happy with how it turned out.
Material
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup of buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup of olive oil or vegetable oil
- 3 minced garlic cloves (or 3 teaspoons)
- 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Oil or spray with a standard 9 x 5 standard nonstick cooking pot.
- Beat with flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl. Gently Mix grated Parmesan cheese.
- In a separate bowl, shake together the oil, curd and eggs.
- Pour the dry ingredients liquid. Gently stir and fold the ingredients until all the flour has been put in and the wet mixture is formed. Soft folding herbs and garlic. Be careful not to mix.
- Pour the mixture into a pan prepared, spread to the edges.
- Bake in an oven heated 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. When finished, the bread must be vaulted and golden, and the toothpicks inserted into the center must come out clean.
- Cool in a pan for 15 minutes before removing, slicing and serving.
- Wrap cooled bread tightly in plastic wrap and store at room temperature for up to a week. For freezer storage, wrap in plastic and aluminum foil and freeze for up to three months.
